1 Set up
judicial panel of inquiry headed by an eminent jurist to investigate excesses of the defunct SARS Terms
of reference should include ·
Compensation
to victims ·
Prosecution
of erring officers ·
Recommendation
of sack for culpable senior officers etc |
The process of restructuring the country should commence immediately. The various constitutional conferences from Obasanjo to Gej should be harmonized by a team of independent eminent Nigerian s made of representative of the various tendencies to provide a draft constitution. Upon conclusion, a referendum must be done to confirm acceptability by Nigerians. |

OCs SARS should be made to go on compulsory leave pending the outcome of the
judicial panel of inquiry 3)
All
members of defunct SARS should be sent back to police training school for 1
year for retraining/re-orientation course. 4)
A
Police Trust fund, should be immediately set up. No government official should
be part of the governing board, rep from Private sector, CSO, NBA, Religious
organization and Youth organization ·
Terms
of reference will be to source for funds to augment the welfare of rank and
file officers from Inspector downwards ·
Comprehensive
health insurance for them and their families ·
Decent
accommodation ·
Life
assurance of up to N20m if they die in active service e ·
Allowances
