A mother-of-four revealed how she had sex hours after giving birth.
Deborah Hodge, 44, of south-east London, and her then-partner became intimate in a private hospital room shortly after welcoming their daughter Amelia in July 2013.
Speaking to Samantha Brick at the Sun, Deborah said that despite undergoing an emergency C-section just hours earlier, she doesn't remember feeling any discomfort.
'As Amelia lay in her cot, my partner and I were having a cuddle on the bed, when before I knew it we were having sex,' she recalled.
While she didn't feel 'sexy', there was an 'incredible closeness' between them, she recalled.
'It was over so quick that I don’t remember feeling any discomfort, but that could have been because I’d had an epidural. I couldn’t believe we’d done it – I put it down to all the drugs I was on.'
Deborah is also mother to Felix, 20, Ella, 14, and Izzy, 10, who later split from her partner, who was 15 years her junior.
Speaking to Femail previously, Deborah told how she met her former partner at a pub while attending a poetry evening.
'I went out for a cigarette as I smoked then and we bumped into each other and started talking,' she said.
'I had just broken up with my third partner, it was long term and I was on the rebound – desperate to feel better and find my confidence again.
'We started drinking and chatting and at the end of evening we went home together.
'I must say I wasn’t at that time put off the age gap – [he] was saying all the right things, we got on well and it was a massive boost for me.
He virtually didn’t leave and without knowing it he had just moved in. We were happy he got on with my girls.
'I was told after my third daughter due to my periods being erratic and my age then 39 I couldn’t have any more kids. But two months after we met I was pregnant.
'I was shocked and thrilled and [he] was over the moon – he couldn’t wait to be a dad, was very hands on.
'The girls wanted another baby, my friends were shocked and concerned and others just accepted that it was fine to have a bloke much younger. I continued working at my high-level teaching job.
'[He] was there for the birth – I ended up having an emergency c section due to age and complications and we were so happy to hold Amelia.'
